Feeding Mouths, Empowering Minds
In Partnership with Interfaith Arkansas
We offer more than a hand-out, El Zocalo and Interfaith Arkansas provide food, clothing and household goods, as well as information, resources, education and high quality fresh produce to low income immigrants in need!
Food and Clothing Pantry
Groceries, clothing and household items are offered twice monthly to low income families at our pantry. Bilingual and culturally sensitive staff and volunteers assist immigrant clients. Pantry is generally open the second and fourth Sundays of the month from 3:00-5:00 pm.
If you or someone you know needs food, please call us. We also accept donations of gently used clothing and household items during the pantry open hours. Contact us!
Life Skills Education
Monthly workshops held at the pantry provide important information to clients. Topics include nutrition, health and wellness, household budgeting, taxes and more.
El Zocalo partners with community gardens to source fresh, locally produced fruits and vegetables to clients. We currently partner with the 12th and Oak St. Community Garden.
